Jenae is the Senior Paralegal for The Law Office of Jason Wright. She is proud to be a part of the team that executes the most efficient and effective legal family law representation in Texas. She believes that dealing with family law matters, relationships, money, and children, are far from easy, and can be some of the most stressful times in a person’s life. She, therefore, aims to treat every client with empathy and patience as they navigate their unique personal and legal issues.
Jenae grew up on a ranch in Elgin, Texas. After completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Spanish at Texas Tech University and her law degree at the University of North Texas-Dallas College of Law, she decided to return home to the Austin area. During her undergraduate studies, she gained experience interning in Washington, D.C. for Congressman Lloyd Doggett, and enjoyed volunteering both at Ronald McDonald House and CASA of the South Plains.
While completing her juris doctorate, she was dedicated to her positions as treasurer of the Hispanic Law Student Association and Vice President of Law Students for Reproductive Justice. In her final year in law school, she volunteered her time with the Legal Aid Clinic of Northwest Texas dealing with a variety of civil cases, including family law issues, wills and trust issues, and expunctions. During her time at the Legal Aid Clinic, she realized she had a passion working with families.
Jenae loves living in Central Texas and is never too far away from a weekend hiking trip. Whenever she gets a free moment, she enjoys traveling both locally and abroad, being outdoors, and spending time with her boyfriend, dog, and cat.
